Black History Month Workshop One - Recognition: Culture, Not Colour

The workshop is one of three sessions running throughout Black History Month on the theme of Toward a more Equitable NI.

This workshop will look at the theme of recognition - one of the themes adopted by the UN for People of African Descent (POAD).

The workshop will focus on the presence, cultures and contributions of people of African descent in NI. It will also highlight the role that ethnic minority political leaders and community organisations play in the quest for the right to equality and non-discrimination.

Date: 10am to 12 noon on Friday 7 October.
